Yesterday I received an FrSky X4R receiver 3/16Ch with the intention to use on my 250 size quadcopter I am building.
The instructions as with every X series FrSky receiver I had so far say you power it up with the F/S button pressed and while the Taranis internal module is in D16 mode and Bind enabled.
When I do that however all I get is a Green and Red solid light on the receiver, instead of any flashing light.
I am currently waiting for BRC Hobbies from which I purchased the X4R to get back to me with some help but I suspect that
- either the receiver is faulty or
- there is something weird going on with the latest EU Regulations related firmware on the receiver
Transmitter Taranis X9D
My Taranis is an X9D B01 model built in 2014 and I have tried with both opentx-r2940 and opentx-taranis-2.0.15 firmwares with no luck.
I have read somewhere else that I might need to get some other cable to flash either the Receiver or the Transmitter module but I am a bit at loss at the moment.
Until then I will be using my X6R that works reliably.
